This little newborn is off to meet his new Mom whose own mother just had a baby boy. I think she will have fun taking care of her new baby as much as her mother likes taking care of hers. He has a plastic bean filled body so he can sit up easily and of course a pacifier too.

My new fairies
I wanted to make a fairy that would would be tiny and lend itself to making a Fairy Hut. I had to make the fairy first. I used a Dinky Doll pattern and cut it down and dressed her with ruffles and rickrack.
I wanted a tinier fairy so cut the pattern down a little more. Its hard to embroider eyes on such little dolls. These figures stand about 5 " tall. Now to design the Fairy Hut.

Professional Tote
I bought this fabric over 1 year ago and never made anything with it. I loved it but needed the perfect project. Here it is...love it!

Down's Doll goes to winner
I donated my Down's Doll to a woman who was raising money to adopt her second child with Down's syndrome. She had a raffle and the winner was also an adoptive parent of a child with Down's Syndrome. She was so excited to win her. I mailed her off Friday and hope to hear she has arrived at her new home safe and sound.

Newest Adopted doll
Ari wants a doll just like her. She got to pick out her dolls skin color, hair and outfit. Then using a picture of her, her doll was made.
